The Shimano Dura Ace WH-R9100-C60-TU wheelset is based on 60 mm deep, tubular compatible carbon rims with the wind tunnel
tested D2 profile. This has been designed not only for maximum aerodynamics but also for lateral stiffness and vertical
compliance for more control and comfort.
For the performance-oriented triathlete and Road cyclist, the Dura Ace wheels offer maximum power transmission efficiency – at a pleasantly low weight, to which the titanium freehub also contributes.
For a more balanced spoke tension, the OptBal pattern was used on the rear wheel, with 14 of the 21 spokes on the right and
7 on the left.
Reliable cone bearings are used in the aluminium hubs, which are also particularly easy to adjust. The WH-
R9100-C60-TU are designed for rim brakes and quick releases.
