A short stroke with one-click feedback and multi-shift functions ensures comfort, easy operation, and accurate shifting. The function assignments of the levers can be independently programmed. The shifter can be adjusted in many different positions so that easy operation is ensured for each rider.

The gearshift layout, which specifies when the automated change of the gears happens, can also be programmed individually. The Rhythm-Step philosophy from Shimano ensures a minimum of compensation shifts (that occur automatically) and helps to maintain efficient pedal frequency.
